The Fostering Connections to Success and Increased Adoptions Act of 2008
P.L. 100-351 ammends the Social Security Act to connect and support relative caregivers, improve outcomes for children in foster care, provide for Tribal foster care and adoption access, improve incentives for adoption and for other purposes.
The Alabama Resource Management System is a joint project of the Alabama Criminal Justice Center and the Department of Children's Affairs.
It is a comprehesive database for detailed demographic and statistical information on children and families in Alabama. Analytical and reproting tools provide information for social services agencies and programs. It excells in the application of mapping and data to social services and is an amazing tool for leaders to understand their communities for information, decision making, and snapshots of demographics that can be used for advocating with Legislators or key decision makers.
