Don't be concerned about having access to the social work librarian [Lynn]. I am available to online students just as I am for on-campus students. What we will do is to set up a day and time that is convenient for you and we'll talk over the phone. You will be in front of your computer and I will walk you through search strategies for finding journal articles or books. I've been using this approach for several years and it has been quite successful.
For some of the courses you are taking, I will come to class to provide a demonstration of appropriate databases to use for specific assignments.
It is up to you to initiate an e-mail if you need some assistance whether it be with choosing or narrowing a topic, suggestions for databases to search or appropriate websites. This guide has lots of resources already listed that you can review as a jumping off point for your projects.
