Welcome, this web site brings together information from the Red Cross, CDC, FEMA, local news stations, and other quality sources to help Alabamians and others prepare for hurricanes.

Forecasters have predicted an "active to extremely active" 2013 hurricane season.  The Atlantic hurricane season lasts from June 1 through November 30.
