How to Borrow Print Books and Journal Articles: Instructions for Early College Students

The University of Alabama Libraries provides local access to millions of books, several thousand journals, a huge collection of government documents and much more.   Students in Early College use the the same procedures as distance learning students for borrowing material from collections in Rodges Library for Science and Engineering and the UA Libraries more generally.  More detailed information is on the Distance Learning Web page, which describes Interlibrary Loan and related information.

On occasion, you may want to use something not owned by the UA Libraries.  To borrow materials from other libraries in the U.S., use our Interlibrary Loan Service.  This service is free.  Start by using the special form on our Interlibrary Loan page
