Advanced Searching

Question Mark (?) 

  • This is useful when there are spelling variations for a word, and you want to search for all variations at once.  

Behavio?r = Behavior and Behaviour 

S?epticism = Skepticism and Scepticism

Asterisk (*) 

  • Truncation is useful when you want to search for variable endings of a root word.
  • Empiri* = Empiricism, Empiricist

Quotation Marks 

  • Use quotation marks to search for exact phrases and names of people.
  • "Theory of Knowledge”  
  • "Friedrich Nietzsche"
