An Organist's Guide to the Music Library: Manuscripts and Early Editions
Annotated index and guide to thousands of musical manuscripts by thousands of composers produced between 1600 and 1800. The description of each manuscript includes information about its location, as well as a musical incipit. The database provides comprehensive documentation of extant musical sources worldwide. These primary sources are manuscripts or printed music, writings on music theory, and libretti.
