Streaming Live in the Yellowhammer Room

For librarians and presenters who wish to livestream their presentation via Zoom

Order of Operations

  • Start at Podium -
    • Power on / Log in to Presentation Computer
    • Turn on Crestron via wall touchscreen (Laptop)
    • Turn on HDMI Receiver 1
    • Turn on Follower Beacon 1
  • Go to Camera 1 -
    • Turn on Camera 1, use view finder to set up your shot
    • Turn on HDMI Transmitter 1
    • Turn on Follower Beacon 3
  • Go to Camera 2 -
    • Turn on Follower Beacon
    • Turn on Follower unit (takes a second)
    • Turn on Camera 2, use viewfinder to zoom / focus
    • Use arrows of Follower unit to center viewfinder horizontally on Beacon unit at the front of the room.
    • Turn on HDMI Transmitter 2
  • Return to Podium -
    • Turn on HDMI Receiver 2
    • Open Lav Mic Kit (in drawer)
      • Turn the RX unit on and plug in to the ATEM Black Magic
      • Turn on the TX unit and put it on your person where preferred
      • If you want to use the wire / mic, plug it in to TX unit and clip to person where preferred
    • Remove Follower watch from desk drawer, walk directly in front of Follower Beacon in center/front of room, turn on watch
    • Power on Bluetooth Headphones (make sure they are paired with Laptop) and put them on
    • Start Zoom session.
      • Set Camera Source & Audio Source to the ATEM Blackmagic
      • Set Speaker in Zoom to Bluetooth Headphones
    • Use ATEM Blackmagic to test Camera switching & make sure audio is on
      • (Cameras must be switched manually)
