New Faculty

Library Instruction Program

Librarians at UA Libraries provide instruction for undergraduate and graduate students as well as programs across campus. These sessions can take place in-person and online. Librarians also partner with faculty to design research assignments that integrate information literacy into course curriculum.

Library Instruction Across the Disciplines

Liaison librarians work with departments across campus and provide instruction that aligns with disciplinary research practices. They also partner with faculty to integrate information literacy concepts and skills into course curriculum, activities, and assignments to support the larger learning outcomes of the course and discipline.

Research Data Services

Research Data Services at UA Libraries is focused on providing support to students and faculty who have an interest, or are already engaged, in data-intensive research. Librarians are available to provide RDS instruction for all skill levels and can help faculty develop assignments, activities, and curriculum that incorporate a variety of RDS topics, skills, and tools.
