The Institutional Repository (IR) is a platform for promoting open access and sharing University of Alabama scholarship with a world-wide audience. Repositories are important tools for preserving an organization's legacy, and they facilitate long-term digital preservation and scholarly communication. 

The University of Alabama’s Institutional Repository supports and supplements academic publishing and scholarly communication via a searchable, open access, web-based publishing platform for:

Create an IR account

We want to make the process as simple as possible. If you are unsure of what you are allowed to upload into the repository, feel free to email us your CV. We will review the copyright policies for each work you have listed and let you know which version of manuscript can be uploaded into the Institutional Repository.
