Tibbits Endowment for Poetry & Poetics

Cover Art

Thanks in part to a generous endowment from the family of John Dennis Tibbits, the University Libraries maintains a strong collection of contemporary poetry.

See title list.of Tibbits Endowment books.

(Sort by "Publication Date Descending" to see the most recent acquisitions.)

The endowment allows the purchase of "books, serials, databases, and other resources on poetry and poetics with an emphasis on modern and contemporary poetry."  The Libraries' selection of materials is made in consultation with the poetry faculty of the University's Creative Writing Program.

To recommend a purchase, please contact Erica England.
