Roll Tide Research

This guide introduces faculty to the Roll Tide Research (RTR) asynchronous learning modules, a set of flexible, accessible tutorials designed to help students strengthen their research skills.

Licensing

Open Access for All

  • RTR modules are openly available online—no login is required.

  • They can be used by students, faculty, and instructors both inside and outside The University of Alabama.

  • Assessment quizzes can be completed by anyone and results sent to any email address specified by the user.

Use by Outside Institutions

  • No prior permission is required for non-commercial use in courses or academic activities.

  • If you use RTR in a formal classroom or training setting, we encourage you to share your feedback so we can learn how the modules are being used in different contexts.
