We are all in this together and our staff and librarians are here to help you navigate this transition.

For the most up-to-date information concerning the availability of resources and services that the University of Alabama Libraries provide, check out the following guide:

NOTE: Digital copies of a large portion of our print collection at the University of Alabama Libraries are temporarily available via HathiTrust in response to the COVID-19 crisis and the suspension of circulation services for print items at libraries across the country.

The following video walks you through looking for our books in HathiTrust and how to check them out. It also covers (limited) downloading capabilities, accessibility, and how to cite the books in this collection.

Welcome to the research guide for French language and culture resources at UA Libraries! This guide provides a comprehensive overview of the library and web resources that can be used to find books, journals, films, websites, and other cultural heritage materials in the French language. If you have any questions, please don't hesitate to ask for assistance at the Gorgas Library Help Desk (located on the first floor) or to contact me directly by email or phone.
