NEH Guidance
The NEH has been requiring a short DMP longer than most federal agencies. The newest guidance is from 2019 (as of 04-APR-2022), so an update is likely to happen soon regarding the recent federal policy changes.
The NEH calls for both a 2-page Data Management Plan (all grants, Attachment 5) and a 3-page Sustainability Plan (Level III grants, Attachment 6). Although both are similar, the Sustainability Plan mostly focuses on the long-term needs of your project (sometimes post grant) where your DMP focuses on your short-term project needs during grant funding.
Information regarding the requirements will be included in the Notice of Funding Opportunity (NOFO).
